Follow the signs for Rental Car return. Park in a spot marked for Alamo Rent a Car - row 1, 2, 3 or 4. Please place the keys in the drop box located on the right side of the door of the rental car office marked Alamo Car Key Return.

There is no maximum age limit. Young drivers surcharge is DKK 76.00 per rental, excl vat, for drivers between 23-25 years (Inclusive). Please note: the young drivers surcharge will only display as per day, so the price for this will be corrected at time of pickup if applicable.

Cross border is allowed to all Western European countries (except UK & Ireland) and at no extra cost. Driving into Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovak Republic, former USSR and former Yugoslavia is not allowed. Insurance is not valid for any damage or theft in these countries and the customer will be liable for the costs in these cases. If driving into Sweden or Norway, from November to March, it is mandatory to book Snow Tyres. Please be advised that due to a change in law in Germany, it is mandatory for all vehicles crossing the border into Germany to have winter tyres fitted during the Snow & Icy conditions. Customers will be fined on the spot if they are stopped by police and found to not have the appropriate winter tyres.

One-ways are available between Aalborg, Billund and Copenhagen. From Copenhagen to Aalborg and Billund the fee is 500 DKK plus VAT. One-ways from Aalborg and Billund to Copenhagen is charged a fee of 800 DKK plus VAT. One-ways between Copenhagen Airport and Copenhagen downtown location have a fee of 200 DKK plus VAT.

Alamowill supply you a car with a full tank of petrol. Customers must return the car with a full tank of petrol or refuelling charges will apply.

Customers must present a full and valid driving license which has been held for a minimum of one year. The rates are not valid for Danish residents as they are based on tax free cars.

All major credit cards are accepted (American Express/Diners Club/MasterCard/Visa). National chargecards are accepted. Cash rentals are not accepted. A credit card is always required for deposits, and the deposit is held on the card until the vehicle is returned. The deposit required on an inclusive product is approx 3,000 DKK higher than the full rental cost and the deposit required on an exclusive product is between 15,000-20,000 higher than the full rental cost and is dependant on the car type booked. Two credit cards are required when renting the following car groups: PDMR (Premium), PWMR (Premium Wagon-Estate), FVAR (Full Size Pax Van), IFMR (Intermediate 4x4), LCAR (Luxury), LDAR (Luxury), LEAR (Luxury), LWAR (Luxury Wagon-Estate), LVAR (Luxury Pax Van), MTMR (Mini Convertible), PDAR (Premium), SFAR (Standard 4x4), UEMR (Premium Elite), UTMR (Premium Elite), XDAR (Special), XSAR (Special) and one of the credit cards presented must be either an American Express or Diners Club card and must be in the same name.

All renters and additional drivers must be 19 or older, have a valid drivers license and a major credit card in their name. All drivers between the ages of 19 - 24 will have a young driver fee attached. International renters must also provide a valid passport. The primary renter must provide a major credit card in their own name. Additional ID or further identifications may be requested.
