Does Alamo have a grace period for returning a car late?

At Alamo rental locations across the USA and Canada, there is generally a 29 minute grace period for daily rentals.

If your vehicle is returned within 2 hours of the time it was rented on a subsequent day, additional hourly charges will apply.

If you return your vehicle 2 hours or more from the time it was rented on a subsequent day, you will be charged for an additional day of rental.

After-hours rental car returns

A vehicle that is returned after hours will not be checked in until the next business day.

If you return your vehicle after hours when a branch is closed, you will be responsible for your vehicle until a satisfactory check has been carried out the next business day.
